Job summary

AR Utilities & Excavation LLC seeks an experienced Underground Utility Construction Foreman to oversee field operations in San Antonio, TX and surrounding areas. This hands-on leadership role requires deep knowledge of water, sewer, fire protection, and storm drainage systems, plus the ability to manage crews, schedules, safety, and project profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of underground utility construction experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a utility foreman or crew leader strongly preferred.
• Ability to independently manage an underground utility construction crew.
• Strong understanding of SAWS, City of San Antonio, TXDOT, and local municipal construction specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily underground utility crew operations.
• Take ownership of projects from mobilization to completion.
• Plan daily/weekly work activities and production goals to hit schedules.
• Assign tasks to operators, pipe layers, and laborers based on needs.
• Communicate progress, material needs, scheduling conflicts and delays to management.
• Coordinate with general contractors, inspectors, and other trades.
