Job summary

AR Utilities & Excavation LLC is seeking an experienced Underground Utility Construction Foreman to oversee daily field operations in San Antonio, TX and surrounding areas. You will lead a crew responsible for water, sewer, fire protection, and storm drainage installations, ensuring production, safety, and project profitability.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with hands-on construction knowledge and the ability to make independent field

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years underground utility construction experience.
• Experience as a utility foreman or crew leader.
• Ability to read and interpret civil construction plans, utility profiles, and construction details.
• Ability to independently establish grades, calculate pipe slopes, verify invert elevations, and identify utility conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Independently supervise daily operations of an underground utility construction crew.
• Take ownership of assigned projects from mobilization through completion.
• Plan daily and weekly work activities to meet production goals and schedules.
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, inspectors, and other trades.
• Ensure safety, quality, and profitability on each jobsite.
• Maintain accurate daily reports on manpower, equipment, materials, and production.
