Job summary

DL Glover Utilities, LLC is seeking an experienced Underground Utility Foreman to lead field crews on complex storm sewer, waterline, and sanitary sewer installations. In this key field leadership role, you will be responsible for daily jobsite operations, crew productivity, field safety, installation quality, and direct coordination with project management and civil inspectors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on underground utility construction experience.
• Prior Foreman, Pipe Lead, or crew supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with storm sewer, waterline, and sanitary sewer construction.
• Ability to read construction plans and establish grades/elevations.
• Valid state driver license with acceptable driving record.
• OSHA compliance and trench safety experience preferred.
• Experience working around active roads/utilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead underground utility crews on active civil sites.
• Install storm sewer, waterline, and sanitary sewer systems.
• Coordinate excavation, trenching, bedding, pipe placement, backfill.
• Read plans and specifications to ensure correct grades.
• Maintain safety standards and enforce trench protection.
• Coordinate with project management, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Track daily production and field progress.
• Ensure quality meets contract specifications.
