Job summary

Pike Electric, Inc. is seeking a safety‑driven Cable Splicer to construct and repair underground electrical systems on energized and de‑energized lines. Travel to diverse job sites, including out‑of‑state locations, may be required to meet operational needs.

You will report to the Foreman and lead crews when needed, while mentoring apprentices and groundmen. A CDL and 3+ years of underground experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Three years of underground experience required.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair energized and de-energized underground systems with safety first.
• Lead crew in absence of supervisor and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen in procedures and safety.
• Operate backhoes, bucket trucks and other equipment on job sites.
