Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a safety‑focused Cable Splicer to construct and repair electrical underground systems, handling energized and de‑energized lines. The role may require travel to various job sites, including out‑of‑state locations, and reports to the Foreman.

Essential duties include leading crew in the absence of the IC, training apprentices, installing conductors and hardware, and operating heavy equipment. The job demands outdoor work in diverse weather and on‑call rotations.

Qualifications

• Three years of underground experience.
• Valid CDL license.
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work outside of normal business hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction and repair of underground electrical systems with safety as priority.
• Lead crew in the absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair underground power conductors and related hardware.
• Operate backhoe, bucket trucks, digger trucks, and mini excavator.
