Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Shift Supervisor - Unarmed Residential in Florida. The role oversees security for a high-profile client’s facility, ensuring safety, post order compliance, and efficient operation during assigned shifts.

The ideal candidate will lead a team, coordinate training, and enforce company policies while maintaining poise during emergencies. Weekly pay and competitive compensation reflect regional standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Associate’s degree or higher in any discipline (or other qualifying criteria).
• Minimum 1 year of security or related experience; 2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to manage emergencies and write reports clearly.
• Strong communication and planning skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.
• Provide direction and instruction to subordinates.
• Cross-training officers to improve versatility and site efficiency.
• Recommend productivity and cost reductions to management.
• Ensure contract required training and screening elements are met.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for the shift.
• Maintain overtime at minimum or within designated levels.
• Inspect security personnel and performance for contract compliance.
• Assist in security surveys and post orders as needed.
