The Learning Experience - Zephyrhills, FL is seeking an experienced Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our nationally recognized early childhood program. In this full-time role, you will lead a toddler classroom, establish structured routines, mentor an assistant teacher, and ensure compliance with Florida DCF standards while keeping families informed about their child’s progress.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of toddler experience, strong classroom management, and a patient, nurturing approach

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience with toddlers in licensed childcare.
• Strong understanding of toddler development milestones.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors with positive strategies.
• Lead classroom independently with collaboration with staff.
• Meet Florida DCF requirements for personnel and training.

Responsabilités

• Lead a two-year-old classroom with patience, consistency, and confidence.
• Establish structured daily routines, clear expectations, and positive classroom management strategies.
• Guide and support assistant teachers to maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom.
• Create a positive environment that encourages independence, social skills, and emotional development.
• Maintain consistent communication with families regarding progress and daily experiences.
• Ensure compliance with Florida DCF licensing standards, classroom ratios, and health and safety.
