Confidential, a national leader in early childhood education, is seeking a Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher to lead a toddler classroom with patience and structured routines, guiding a team of assistants and creating a safe, engaging environment.

You will apply developmentally appropriate strategies, support diverse needs, communicate progress to families, and ensure Florida DCF compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.
• Strong understanding of toddler development milestones.
• Experience managing challenging toddler behaviors using positive, developmentally appropriate strategies.
• Ability to meet applicable Florida DCF childcare personnel requirements.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a classroom of two-year-olds with patience, consistency, and confidence.
• Establish structured daily routines, clear expectations, and positive classroom management strategies.
• Guide and support assistant teachers to maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom.
• Create a positive environment that encourages independence, social skills, and emotional development.
• Observe developmental progress and communicate concerns professionally with administration and families.
