Job summary

Morgridge Center for Public Service at UW–Madison seeks a Badger Volunteers Educate Lead Tutor to support MMSD sites in Madison. The role combines tutoring, mentoring, and coordinating student tutors to strengthen literacy and math programming.

Students must be directly enrolled in a course and eligible for Work Study (not required). Anticipated start date is 8/27/2026 with 10–15 hours per week and on-site duties at designated MMSD site, with some remote coordination allowed.

Qualifications

• Student status: you must be directly enrolled in a course (Work Study eligible but not required).
• Currently eligible for Work Study but not required.

Responsibilities

• Site-specific coordination with MMSD liaison.
• Coordinate travel for tutor team and facilitate monthly reflection sessions.
• Tutoring/mentoring on site at least twice a week.
