Job summary

Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) seeks AVID Tutors for the 2026-2027 school year. Tutors will lead small, student-led AVID tutorial groups, assess student work, and participate in regular meetings.

Prior AVID tutoring experience and ability to work with diverse middle school students are essential, along with excellent communication and organization. Preference for those enrolled in a post-secondary program or college graduates.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate small, student-led AVID tutorial groups in MMSD middle/high schools.
• Assess and provide feedback on student work; attend regular tutorial debrief meetings.
• Possibly create anchor charts or resources to help tutorials succeed.
