Job summary

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Pearland, TX, seeks a Repair Specialist II to develop repair processes and SOPs from product requirements for overhaul projects. You will create shop floor work packages and support manufacturing engineering throughout the project lifecycle.

Required: 5–10 years in rotating equipment repair, strong communication, CAD tooling, and familiarity with API RP 687 and ISO standards. This full-time on-site role reports to the Manager – Shop Services CSB.

Qualifications

5–10 years experience in rotating equipment repair or repair shop environment.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Experience with machining, overhaul/repair of heavy-duty rotating equipment.
Experience creating basic tooling drawings using CAD.
Familiarity with API RP 687 rotor repairs and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

Foster teamwork, compliance and continual improvement.
Ensure adherence to standard procedures and shop processes.
Provide technical support for manufacturing/overhaul projects.
Create shop floor work packages with clear instructions and references to SOPs and data forms.
Enter purchase requisitions in SAP for parts and materials.
Monitor project progress and coordinate with engineering, QA, and management.
