Job summary

Ebara Elliott Energy is seeking a Shop Engineer to set repair methods, oversee repair work and ensure technical integrity for rotating equipment in the Houston Service Center. You will develop work packages, support tool design and ensure adherence to QA plans and industry standards.

The role requires 5+ years in rotor/turbine/compressor repair, advanced CAD skills, and the ability to coordinate with shop, field service and sales to deliver high-quality repairs and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent four-year degree.
• Min. 5 years of total experience with rotors, compressors and turbine repairs, inspections and overhauls for rotary equipment.

Responsibilities

• Engineer repair solutions and ensure technical integrity of work in Repair Shop.
• Provide technical liaison for repair shop, field service and field sales teams.
• Develop and maintain Work Packages with process and material specs for projects.
• Ensure QA Plans are followed and support repair recommendations.
• Prepare repair proposals from contracts and feasibility studies.
• Assist shop floor during repair execution and support sales engineers in quotations.
