Job summary

Columbia Bank in Denver, CO is seeking a Trust Operations Supervisor for the Columbia Private Trust (CPT). You will lead the team responsible for processing client, asset sponsor, and third-party requests with focus on accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.

In this role, you will mentor staff, review daily activities, and approve transactions in the trust accounting system, while maintaining control standards and effective client service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years financial services experience in a securities processing or asset servicing environment.
• 1–2 years leadership experience including leading a team of employees in a financial services environment.
• 5+ years alternative investment experience, preferred.
• Strong knowledge of operations and client service; coaching experience.
• Demonstrated quality control review skills and training experience.
• CISP and SDIP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Trust Operations team and ensure timely, accurate processing.
• Review client submissions and approve securities transactions in the trust accounting system.
• Mentor, coach, and train team members; perform performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with bank regulations and internal policies; manage escalations.
• Collaborate with Sales and Relationship Management on High Net Worth accounts.
• Document procedures and ensure proper archiving in Salesforce; guide process improvements.
