Job summary

Columbia Bank in Denver seeks a Trust Operations Supervisor – Asset Valuations to lead a high‑volume team, oversee securities processing, and ensure compliant, accurate, and timely handling of client and third‑party requests.

In this role you will mentor staff, drive operational excellence, and coordinate with Sales and Relationship Management for High Net Worth accounts, while maintaining regulatory compliance and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent financial services experience.
• 5+ years financial services experience in a securities processing or asset servicing environment.
• 1–2 years leadership experience including leading a team in a financial services environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of operations, client service, and compliance requirements.
• Experience coaching employees and overseeing complex client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Review team processing activities and approve securities transactions in the trust accounting system.
• Ensure activities are processed timely and accurately with controls to reduce risk.
• Archive documentation related to activities and note in Salesforce.
• Oversee daily team processes and ensure deadlines are met with quality control.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and training to team members.
• Supervise duties including performance evaluations, scheduling, and hiring decisions.
• Train new hires on processes and complex activities.
• Collaborate with Sales and Relationship Management on growth initiatives for HNW accounts.
