Meyer is seeking a Lead Truck Driver Manager in Spokane to oversee cross dock operations, supervise drivers, and drive company trucks on route deliveries. You will ensure deliveries stay on time and compliant with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience driving 26-28 FT box trucks or other CMVs over 10,001 lbs.
• 2+ years supervisory/management experience.
• Previous warehouse experience and ability to operate a forklift or man lift preferred.
• Must obtain forklift certification within three months.
• Valid truck driver license with state endorsement, no restrictions.
• Willing to submit to drug screens, background checks, and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
• No recent moving or driving violations; insurable at standard rates.
• Ability to comply with FMCSA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cross dock operations, maintain inventory and warehouse space functionality.
• Supervise non-CDL truck drivers; orient and train new staff.
• Drive company trucks to make route deliveries to customers.
• Load and unload freight from trucks.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone or email; complete DOT paperwork.
