Job summary

Central Pre-Mix Concrete Co., a CRH Company, is seeking a Driver Supervisor in Spokane Valley, WA. You will lead CDL drivers, ensure safety, and deliver exceptional customer service while solving daily transportation challenges.

This on-site role requires 1–2 years of field experience, strong leadership, and DOT compliance awareness. The team emphasizes safety, reliability, and collaboration with dispatch and management.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safety culture and leading by example.
• 1–2 years field experience around concrete, aggregates, or heavy civil construction.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities in a team setting.
• Strong customer service and critical thinking to resolve issues.
• Proficiency with PC programs and Microsoft Office.
• Flexibility to adjust hours to meet team and customer needs.
• Valid driver's license and US work authorization; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct a team of drivers, including performance appraisals and scheduling.
• Coordinate with Dispatch on out-of-town assignments and conduct performance.
• Observe drivers for timely deliveries, customer relations, and safe operations.
• Follow up on delivery and driver complaints and address quality issues.
• Ensure DOT compliance and assist with audits as required.
• Oversee Driver Training programs for all drivers.
• Communicate with Transportation Manager to improve productivity.
• Interpret and follow union contracts and company guidelines.
• Manage driver qualifications and assist with contract negotiations.
• Represent drivers' interests in issues with shop, dispatch, and management.
• Investigate property damage and coordinate with Safety Director.
