Job summary

Agape Construction Company, Kirkwood, MO, seeks a Lead Trim Carpenter with proven finish carpentry experience in residential additions and remodels. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee trim work to keep projects on schedule and budget while delivering high craftsmanship and maintaining client relations.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, installing doors/windows, setting cabinets, millwork, exterior trim, and using laser or transit levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in both rough and finish carpentry.
• In-depth knowledge of blueprint reading and structural framing codes.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical codes.
• Physically fit and able to perform demanding work; reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, change orders, and other carpentry documents.
• Install doors and windows and set cabinets and countertops.
• Install interior trim: base, casing, crown; install stairs and handrails.
• Build millwork: bookshelves, mouldings, mantles, box beams; install exterior trim.
• Use laser or transit level to establish grades and elevations.
• Perform simple repairs in painting, staining, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, flooring, drywall, and taping.
