Job summary

Bush & Bush Law Group in Irving, TX seeks a Managing Attorney – Litigation Operations & Trial Director to lead the litigation department, drive attorney accountability, trial readiness, and strategic case progression. This in-office role focuses on mentoring a high-performing team and aligning workflows with firm goals.

The ideal candidate has extensive PI trial experience, board certification, and a proven leadership track to elevate case outcomes and client service across the Texas docket.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of personal injury litigation experience (20+ years preferred).
• Board Certified in Personal Injury Law with 15+ jury trials to verdict.
• Proven leadership and mentoring experience with attorneys and paralegals.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive experience taking and defending fact, expert, corporate representative, and treating physician depositions.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare attorneys and clients for deposition testimony.
• Commitment to excellence, ethical practice, and client-focused advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee litigation teams and mentor staff.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks across the team.
• Review pleadings, motions, and filings for quality and compliance.
• Monitor performance, provide feedback and drive improvement.
• Collaborate with operations to resolve staff concerns.
• Occasionally represent clients in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Develop case strategies with clients and internal teams.
• Ensure attorneys are trial-ready and meet KPIs.
