Job summary

MFM Health in Massachusetts is seeking a full-time Lead Triage Nurse to provide clinical leadership and operational support across Middleton, Danvers, and Manchester-by-the-Sea locations. The role partners with the Manager of Clinical Support & Care Continuity Operations to ensure efficient operations, adherence to standards, and safe, timely patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license in good standing.
• 3–5 years nursing experience, preferably in primary/ambulatory care or telephone triage.
• Leadership experience as charge nurse or lead nurse preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical triage, vaccine administration, and ambulatory nursing workflows.
• Excellent organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, and communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership and workflow coordination for the Nursing and Triage department.
• Coordinate daily triage operations to ensure timely patient care.
• Monitor workflow and adjust assignments based on staffing and volume.
• Identify workflow challenges and implement process improvements.
• Assist in achieving departmental initiatives and goals.
• Support staffing coverage and schedule management.
• Coordinate triage assignments and monitor performance.
• Ensure compliance with standards and documentation quality.
• Lead nurse visit coordination and vaccine program resources.
