Job summary

HDR is seeking a Trenchless Geotechnical Team Lead to plan, manage, and orchestrate geologic and geotechnical initiatives across trenchless technologies. You will lead investigations, generate design reports, and represent HDR in client meetings, coordinating with design and construction teams.

You will advance capabilities in OpenGround, gINT, ArcGIS Pro, and AutoCAD Civil 3D while mentoring a team of geotechnical professionals and managing project resources and risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geotechnical or related engineering.
• 7+ years geotechnical experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Professional registration may be required based on role.
• Proficiency with OpenGround, gINT, ArcGIS Pro, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute geotechnical investigations for trenchless projects across fieldwork, drilling crews, logging, and laboratory coordination.
• Generate geotechnical reports including boring logs, cross-sections, and design reports.
• Represent HDR at client meetings and coordinate data integration into deliverables.
• Maintain data management and quality control of geological data using software tools.
• Mentor and manage a team of geotechnical professionals; plan resources and forecast costs.
