Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Trenchless Geotechnical Team Lead in Omaha, NE, to plan, manage, and execute geotechnical initiatives for trenchless technologies. You will oversee field campaigns, subsurface evaluations, and integrate geotechnical data into design deliverables.

You will lead a team, coordinate subcontractors, and utilize gINT/OpenGround, ArcGIS Pro, and AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce reports. Travel to project sites is expected as part of field leadership and client interaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or trenchless projects.
• Professional registration or licensure may be required depending on role.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute geotechnical investigations for trenchless projects.
• Generate geotechnical data and engineering reports.
• Represent HDR's Trenchless Services in client meetings and site visits.
• Support geotechnical data management using OpenGround and/or gINT.
• Oversee subcontracted drilling crews and field logging; coordinate with labs.
• Mentor and manage geotechnical staff; plan resources and schedule.
