Job summary

TRDI is seeking a Tree Trimmer Technician to maintain trees and shrubs and to keep access to utilities, roads, and sidewalks. The role requires supervising crews, ensuring safety, and coordinating with project managers in a Fort Hood, TX environment.

Responsibilities include pruning/removal, riding or operating bucket trucks, and complying with ANSI standards. The position demands flexibility, weekend/evening hours, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Able to wear PPE as per task and safety rules.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of trees and shrubs per contract and schedules.
• Plan and manage small-scale projects with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop mitigation and contingency strategies to reduce risk.
• Supervise tree crews performing pruning and removals to ANSI standards.
• Operate aerial lift/bucket truck and ensure crew safety training.
