Job summary

Pino Tree Service seeks a Tree Trimmer/Climber for Kilgore, TX. This full-time role trims vegetation near power lines and manages ground ops under a foreperson's guidance. You will set up jobsites, chip debris, and teardown while staying compliant with safety rules and PPE requirements.

Experience with tree trimming and working around power structures is required, with CDL status preferred. Travel is possible, and a valid US work authorization is necessary.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of tree trimming experience with ground operations for utility line clearance.
• Experience working around power lines and utility structures.
• Commitment to safety procedures and PPE use.
• Ability to follow foreperson instructions and work as a crew.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree trimming and vegetation management near power lines following safety standards.
• Handle ground operations: site prep, debris management, and cleanup per foreman.
• Operate and maintain chainsaws, pole saws, and chippers.
• Wear and adhere to PPE including helmet, vest, hearing protection, and glasses.
• Report unsafe conditions to foreman and assist in hazards mitigation.
• Ensure equipment is in good working order and report malfunctions.
• Assist with setup and teardown of equipment and coordinate with crew.
• Communicate clearly with team and follow foreman instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
