Job summary

ISA Certified Arborist is seeking a Foreperson to coordinate crews and equipment to complete jobs to contract specifications and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities include directing daily work, assigning tasks, planning execution, communicating with property owners, and ensuring PPE and safety practices are followed.

Travel may be required for storm work; benefits include health insurance and 401K options for full-time employment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
• Must be able to meet and demonstrate qualifications of all positions on a crew.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew members, equipment, tools and supplies to complete jobs according to contract specifications.
• Direct crew daily, assign tasks, supervise performance and organize work for efficiency.
• Plan and execute tasks in a safe and professional manner and ensure PPE compliance.
• Notify property owners of presence, obtain permission to work, and discuss access and safety issues with customers.
• Inspect work, report completion to customer and maintain records of time, equipment and materials.
• Drive company vehicle and travel for storm restoration work as needed.
