Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Tree Climber Crew Lead for the Cleves, OH area. The role leads a crew, climbs trees, and operates lift equipment to deliver safe, high-quality tree care services, with pay between $28 and $40 per hour.

You will coordinate day-to-day work, ensure safety compliance, and communicate with clients. Requirements include 3+ years in tree removal and climbing, a valid CDL, and ISA Arborist certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tree removal, tree pruning, and climbing/lift operation.
• Valid driver's license with experience operating large trucks and trailers.
• Proficiency in tree climbing, aerial lift operation, proper pruning techniques, rigging, knot tying, chainsaw use, and tree care equipment.
• ISA Certified Arborist and/or Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead tree removal, pruning, and trimming projects while ensuring safe and efficient work practices.
• Climb trees and safely operate a 72' track lift and other aerial equipment to complete tree care services.
• Perform rigging, tree removals, stump grinding, chainsaw work, woodchipper operation, and other tree care tasks.
• Direct and supervise crew members, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
• Conduct equipment inspections, maintain tools, and follow all safety regulations and company procedures.
