Job summary

SavATree is hiring a Tree Climber Crew Lead in Billings, MT. You’ll climb, prune, and care for trees, using safe techniques and modern equipment to protect landscapes. Join a team known for safety, quality, and collaborative work.

A sign-on bonus of $2,500 is offered along with paid PTO, benefits, and a 401(k) plan. Responsibilities include pruning large trees, removals, cable bracing, and operating chainsaws and bucket trucks. A valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience pruning large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree/shrub species.
• Climb without spurs as required by site safety.
• Knowledge of tree care safety standards.
• Hands-on experience with chainsaws and related equipment.
• Experience operating bucket trucks/aerial lifts.
• Valid U.S. driver's license; CDL a plus.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Climb and prune large trees using proper practices.
• Perform removals, cable bracing, and other care tasks.
• Safely operate chainsaws, equipment, and aerial lifts.
• Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality service.
• Apply industry safety standards in all tasks.
