Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Crew Lead Tree Climber in Minnesota to join our General Tree Care Team. You will perform pruning, removals, and cabling, climbing safely, and using chainsaws and bucket trucks to maintain client landscapes.

We offer competitive pay, $27–$35/hour, plus a sign-on bonus up to $5,000, health/dental insurance, PTO, 401(k), and ongoing training. This role emphasizes safety and leadership within a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Proficient in pruning large trees and ornamental species.
• Strong knowledge of tree/shrub characteristics.
• Climb safely without Spurs and adhere to safety standards.
• Operate chainsaws, bucket trucks and other equipment safely.
• Experience with tree care safety practices and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality tree care services including pruning, removals, and cabling.
• Climb trees safely with proper techniques, ropes, saddle, and ladders.
• Operate chainsaws and aerial lifts effectively.
• Apply ANSI pruning standards and safety guidelines in all tasks.
• Maintain clear communication with team and clients for safety and service quality.
