Job summary

SavATree is hiring a Tree Climber in Minnesota to perform high-quality tree care including pruning, removals, and cabling. You will climb safely using ropes and ladders, operate chainsaws and bucket trucks, and follow ANSI standards to protect client landscapes.

The role offers competitive hourly pay between $27 and $35, with a sign-on bonus up to $5,000, plus health/dental insurance, PTO, a 401(k) plan, and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proficient in pruning techniques for large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Knowledgeable about tree and shrub species and their characteristics.
• Comfortable climbing without spurs and using ropes/safety gear.
• Skilled with chainsaws, aerial lifts (bucket trucks), and other equipment.
• Adheres to ANSI A300 pruning standards and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality tree care services: pruning, removals, cabling.
• Climb trees safely using ropes, saddle, and ladders.
• Operate chainsaws, bucket trucks, and other equipment effectively.
• Apply pruning standards and safety practices in all tasks.
• Identify hazards and perform safety checks before, during, and after each job.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and clients.
