Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company in Richmond, VA is seeking a dynamic Climbing Arborist Crew Leader to direct a crew, plan and execute arboricultural tasks for our clients on site. You will lead pruning, removal, cabling, and safety routines, using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS climbing systems where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work outdoors and climb.
• Complete required safety/orientation trainings on hire.
• Preferred licenses/certifications listed in the job ad.

Responsibilities

• Directs crew and equipment; plans and executes assigned work.
• Lead arboricultural tasks: pruning, thinning, deadwood removal.
• Install cables, bracing and lightning protection systems.
• Mentor crew members through the Career Development Program.
