Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Crew Leader in Tree Care to oversee daily operations, supervise the crew, and ensure safe, high-quality pruning, cabling, and removals. You’ll lead training, maintain equipment, and uphold safety standards.

The role requires 3 years in tree care, a CDL class B, bilingual Spanish, and proven supervisory experience. Heavy outdoor work, flexible hours, and ability to lift 40 lbs are expected.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in tree care services
• Experience with pruning, cabling, bracing, and removals
• Strong safety mindset and ability to train crew members
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise the tree care service activities of the crew
• Ensure crew members have the required safety materials, training, and operate safely
• Ensure work areas are clear and marked to protect the public from debris
• Inspect and maintain climbing gear and equipment
• Review and manage crew schedules
• Coordinate with branch management, customers, and employees
• Safely operate tree and landscaping tools and heavy equipment as needed
• Utilize proper pruning techniques and assist with debris disposal
