Job summary

BrightView seeks a Crew Leader Tree Care to supervise daily tree care operations, including pruning, cabling, bracing, and removals, while guiding crew members and maintaining equipment. You will uphold safety standards and coordinate with branch management and customers.

The role requires 3 years in tree care, a CDL Class B, and experience managing a crew of climbers/grounds. Strong communication and bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus, with an emphasis on safe, efficient work practices.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in tree care services
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques and equipment
• CDL Class B license and safety training
• Experience managing a crew of climbers and grounds
• Supervisory experience and ability to prioritize/multitask

Responsibilities

• Supervise the tree care crew activities
• Ensure safety materials and training are provided
• Keep work areas clear and marked to protect the public
• Inspect and maintain climbing gear and equipment
• Review and manage crew schedules
• Complete daily pre-trip inspection reports for Class B equipment
• Coordinate with management, customers, and employees
• Safely operate tree/landscaping tools and heavy equipment
• Use proper pruning techniques and dispose of debris
