Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a Lead Technician – Fiber Optic Engineering to support fiber deployment, splicing, testing, and maintenance across large environments. You will back up the Site Supervisor, lead on-site teams, and ensure project deliverables meet safety and quality standards.

This role requires 90% travel and relocation near a major airport. You will coordinate material and procurement, track progress, and communicate with stakeholders to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fiber optic splicing, installation, or field operations in data center, metro, or large-scale environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of splicing, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience leading field-based technical teams and coordinating crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Fiber Splicing Technicians and Field Technicians.
• Monitor daily team output and ensure productivity targets.
• Provide on-site leadership and ensure safety and quality standards.
