WestCare in Doral, FL seeks a Lead Therapist to provide clinical leadership for the program's therapists, supervise staff, and maintain fidelity to trauma-informed practices such as TF-CBT, Seeking Safety, and the Nurturing Parenting Program.

The role reduces caseload, conducts assessments and therapy, coordinates with project staff and community partners, and ensures compliance with SAMHSA and agency standards. Travel within the community is required.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field required.
• Registered Intern status required; Florida licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT is preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and families, including trauma-focused treatment.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience providing clinical supervision or leading behavioral health teams preferred.
• Bilingual is preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and case consultation to therapists.
• Review clinical documentation for quality, timeliness, and fidelity to evidence‑based models, and provide coaching and feedback.
• Maintain a reduced caseload, providing comprehensive behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, and individual, family, and group therapy.
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning, and serve as clinical backup to therapists during crises.
• Collaborate with child welfare case managers, the dependency court, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners to coordinate care.
• Participate in quality improvement activities, including chart reviews, outcome monitoring, and grant data collection.
• Support training and onboarding of staff in trauma-informed care and program practices.
• Document all services in CDS and/or CCWIS within required timeframes.
• Report suspected abuse or neglect and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
