Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of Pennsylvania Municipal Planning Code.
Experience with land development and PennDOT permitting processes.

Responsibilities

Manage large land development projects in traffic engineering and planning.
Work with multi-disciplinary teams on traffic studies, intersection design, traffic signal design, roadway signing and pavement marking plans, and traffic/signal operations analysis.
Obtain and analyze PennDOT’s Highway Occupancy Permit criteria and procedures.
Oversee preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, impact studies, permits, and designs.
Represent the firm at municipal meetings, hearings, and PennDOT staff meetings.
