Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must pass JMT Motor Vehicle screening.
• Experience interpreting highway construction plans.
• Understanding of DOT standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect contractor operations on transportation projects (roadways/bridges).
• Supervise inspection staff during construction.
• Measure and track quantities of pay items.
• Maintain records: material certifications, testing reports, diaries.
• Interact with public, agencies, contractors, and others to resolve field issues.
