Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson seeks a Transportation Technician IV in North Carolina to serve as a lead inspector on transportation construction projects. You will supervise inspection staff, verify conformance to plans, and maintain inspector diaries on site.

The role requires an associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field with seven years of progressive technician-level experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening.
• Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field with seven years of progressive technician-level experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform inspection of contractor operations on transportation projects (roadway/bridge) to verify plans/specs.
• Supervise and maintain field inspection staff.
• Measure and track quantities of pay items and maintain records (certifications, testing reports, diaries).
• Interact with public, agencies, contractors, and others to resolve field issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
