Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Hydraulics Engineer to join the Transportation Business Group in Denver, CO. You will manage projects, lead a hydraulic/water resource design team, and deliver designs across water resources infrastructure.

The role requires a Bachelor's in civil/environmental engineering, a PE license, and at least 3 years of licensed experience in stormwater and water resources. Excellent communication and collaboration are essential to succeed in HDR's employee-owned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental, water resources or other related fields.
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
• A minimum of 3 years' licensed experience in stormwater and water resources.
• Demonstrated design skills, communication skills and ability to collaborate with various teams
• Technical proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic design and analyses, modelling, permitting, and preparing drainage reports

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design and project management for water resources projects.
• Prepare hydraulic analyses, reports, and construction documents.
• Support business development through client relations and proposals.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with subconsultants to meet schedules
