Responsibilities

• Closely monitor driver performance and vehicle operations.
• Maintain detailed records of driver pay, equipment maintenance and performance.
• Review driver logs and ensure accuracy and DOT compliance.
• Hire, train, and supervise transportation personnel to optimize asset use.
• Plan schedules and process weekly payroll.
• Verify vendor invoices and process accounts payable.
• Monitor expenses and adjust plans to meet budget.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation requirements.
• Review backhauls for profitability.
