Job summary

Expect to monitor logs, supervise drivers, manage payroll, review invoices, and ensure DOT regulations. The position is office-based within a warehouse setting, requiring strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of transportation supervisor experience.
• Minimum 4 years of transportation experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with vendors, shippers, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor driver performance using trip master and control features.
• Maintain records of driver pay, equipment maintenance and performance.
• Review driver logs and paperwork for policy and DOT compliance.
• Monitor equipment for safe operation and minimize breakdowns.
• Coordinate parts and equipment for driver tasks.
• Review routing and adjust for efficiency.
• Hire, train, and supervise transportation personnel; manage payroll.
• Verify vendor invoices and process accounts payable.
• Monitor fuel reports and monthly expenses; adjust as needed.
• Ensure DOT requirements are met and review backhauls for profitability.
