Job summary
MECO Engineering in Pittsfield, IL seeks an experienced Transportation Engineer (PE) to lead the design and delivery of transportation projects across the region. Qualifications
- PE license in Illinois.
- 5+ years of transportation engineering experience (IDOT preferred).
- Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer and Bentley tools.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal design standards and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of roadway and transportation infrastructure projects from concept to construction.
- Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports in compliance with guidelines.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineering staff and CAD designers.
- Interface with clients, stakeholders, and agency representatives throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer and other Bentley products for design and production.
