Job summary

HDR is seeking Transportation Data Steward to define how data is defined, shared, and used across our Transportation Business Group. This leadership role is not IT or compliance and aims to enable better decisions, data reuse, and project delivery excellence.

The rail of responsibilities includes coordinating SMEs, shaping data definitions, and driving adoption of data standards and governance across HDR projects and teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related discipline.
At least 10 years of strategic leadership experience focused on growing and leading teams in change management and data.
Fifteen years of experience delivering diverse data-centric solutions and services.

Responsibilities

Define how data practices are established, aligned, and sustained across the Transportation BG.
Coordinate and enable subject matter experts and technical authorities within each domain.
Lead change management and drive adoption of data standards, practices, and tools.
Ensure data definitions, classifications, and reuse translate into reliable data models and AI tools.
