Job summary

Woolpert seeks a Senior Construction Inspector who qualifies as TCIS-1 or TCIS-2 for PennDOT, PA Turnpike or PA Municipal projects. This role performs complex inspection on infrastructure with minimal supervision and mentors junior staff.

Travel within the region is required. A valid driver's license and NICET Bituminous Field Technician certification are expected; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 years of construction inspection experience on infrastructure projects.
• 1 year leading or senior inspector on complex projects.
• NICET Level II Certification or higher in Highway Construction.
• NECEPT Bituminous Field Technician certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex inspection activities on multi-phase infrastructure projects under minimal supervision.
• Lead inspection efforts for assigned project areas or phases.
• Interpret and apply complex construction documents, shop drawings, and contract requirements.
• Resolve complex field conditions within contract authority and elevate matters requiring design change.
• Review and validate inspection reports, daily diaries, and quantity records for accuracy.
