CDR Maguire Inc. is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor in Philadelphia for a 2027 opening.

The TCIS role involves consulting with contractors, engineers, and job superintendents on plans, specifications, materials, and safety practices during construction. Candidates should have a BS in Civil Engineering and preferred NICET Level III or higher in Transportation/Highway Construction, NJ Traffic Control Cert, and NECEPT bituminous field certification, along with OSHA

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering required.
• NICET Level III or higher in Transportation/Highway Construction preferred.
• NJ Traffic Control Cert and NECEPT Bituminous field certification preferred.
• OSHA 10-Hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with contractors, consultants, engineers, job superintendents, and others on plans, specs, materials, methods and safety precautions.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain progress schedules; check shop drawings and contractor quotations for variations.
• Keep records of quantities, cost of materials used and prepare contractors' progress payment claims.
• May supervise a staff of inspectors.
• Travel as required to perform duties.
