Job summary

You must have a high school diploma, 5 years of roadway maintenance experience, and a Class A CDL (within 120 days). The role requires operating light and heavy equipment and responding to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Leads a crew of transportation maintenance technicians and equipment operators.
• Estimates and gathers materials and equipment to complete assignments.
• Inspects roads en route to and from job sites and reports problems.
• Maintains records on materials, equipment, and employee time sheets.
• Operates light and heavy equipment and trains crew members on its use.
• Schedules daily work assignments and coordinates with supervisor for operational coverage.
