Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a Transportation Supervisor for the Thacker Pass project in Nevada. You will oversee a field transportation operation, managing the bus fleet, drivers, dispatch, and maintenance programs to support workforce shifts and construction activities.

The role requires extensive experience in fleet management, safety compliance, and incident investigations, with regular field presence and timely decision-making to ensure service continuity.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organization, judgment, and problem-solving skills; fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance, dispatch, route planning, scheduling, driver management, fatigue controls, transportation safety, incident investigation, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transportation of project personnel to and from the Thacker Pass site.
• Supervise transportation contractors and drivers for safe, on-time, compliant service.
• Monitor bus deployment, routes, and stops; adjust schedules as needed.
• Coordinate daily and ad hoc transport for site and events.
• Review contractor maintenance records and ensure OEM parts usage.
• Ensure daily pre/post trip checks and timely reporting are completed.
• Manage asset utilization and contractor invoicing accuracy.
• Support incident investigations and regulatory compliance as required.
