Job summary

Qualifications

• RN with California license and BSN.
• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience or training.
• 5 years RN experience with critical care and transplant coordination.
• Ability to case manage all phases of transplant care from evaluation to follow-up.
• Broad knowledge of organ transplantation, immunology, immunosuppression, rejection, and graft failure.
• Excellent communication with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily workflows for transplant coordinators under the Nurse Manager.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (UNOS, CMS, OPTN).
• Manage staffing and schedules; mentor and evaluate coordinators.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary medical care delivery and liaise with patients, families, physicians, and insurers.
• Develop educational materials and programs for patients, staff, and physicians.
• Collect data for clinical management and certification requirements; support quality improvement.
• Develop clinical protocols, policies, and procedures; community education.
