Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking a Supervising Transplant and VAD Coordinator to lead the transplant nursing team under the Transplant Nurse Manager. You will oversee daily workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide staffing decisions while mentoring coordinators to deliver high‑quality patient care across the transplant continuum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program; BSN preferred.
• California RN license required; active practice
• MSN preferred for advanced leadership
• CCTC certification within 1 year of hire

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflows for Transplant and VAD Coordinators; supervise staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with UNOS, CMS, OPTN and manage staffing.
• Mentor coordinators and support quality-improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate patient care from referral through post‑transplant follow‑up; collect data.
• Develop clinical protocols, policies and educational materials.
• Liaise with patients, families, physicians, and insurers to maintain continuity of care
