Job summary

Coalesce Management Consulting in New York is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to oversee the construction of transmission lines, substations, and related electrical infrastructure. You will ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with client and regulatory standards.

You will lead field teams, coordinate with engineering, procurement, clients, and subcontractors, manage risks and schedules, and uphold OSHA and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of utility, electrical, transmission, or substation construction experience.
• 4+ years of construction management or supervisory experience.
• Experience managing transmission and/or substation projects.
• Knowledge of utility construction practices, electrical systems, and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and construction specifications.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Oversee field construction for transmission lines and substations.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, clients, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Manage schedules, budgets, resources, and project risks.
• Ensure OSHA, safety, environmental, and quality requirements are met.
• Review drawings, specifications, daily reports, change orders, and progress.
• Manage subcontractors and field personnel.
• Conduct site inspections and construction meetings.
• Support estimating, constructability reviews, and pre-bid activities.
