Job summary

The role requires strong knowledge of power systems planning, NERC/FERC standards, and experience with PSS/E, PSLF, EMTP/ATP, PSCAD, SKM, ETAP, and Promod. Travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering program or related degree with 3+ years experience.
• Master's degree or PhD preferred for advanced roles.
• Experience with electric utility planning and operations.
• Knowledge of NERC/FERC standards and regional requirements.
• Proficiency in power system software and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of transmission studies: power flow, stability, and contingencies.
• Apply regulatory requirements including NERC and FERC guidelines.
• Lead and support client engagements with technical and economic analyses.
• Develop technical reports and client presentations.
• Collaborate with project managers and aid business development.
