Job summary

Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) seeks an experienced Transmission Line Engineer to lead capital transmission projects. You will provide technical direction to external consultants, oversee design from scoping through construction, and collaborate with internal teams to keep projects advancing.

Texas Professional Engineer license and a valid driver’s license are required. Strong knowledge of PLS-CADD, NESC, and transmission design standards is highly valued for this leadership role in

Qualifications

• Licensed Texas PE required.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead transmission line projects from scoping through closeout.
• Provide technical direction to external consultants and ensure designs meet standards and codes.
• Review PLS-CADD models, structure calculations, drawings, specifications, and IFC prints.
• Coordinate with project management, construction, and other stakeholders to resolve constraints.
• Support construction by responding to RFIs and evaluating field conditions.
